HID kit Which one??

Is there a HID kit that is a direct fit for my 2007 2500? I want to buy a kit and not mess with any splicing. I just want one that works from the get-go. Plug and go with no issues. Any suggestions?

if you want the best quality, with good customer support then dont go any other route than either retrosolutions or lightwerkz. kits are all digital and very high quality.

most other sites sell junk that is repackaged and poor quality

I have two all digital systems on my truck and they are flawless, and so bright youd think its daytime. no joke. clean, crisp light, no flickering and fast ignition of ballasts.

talk to todd at retrosolutions. hes the owner and helpful

if you have the time and the means id go with a retrofit kit. i did on my truck and its excellent. glass projectors and a quality shroud, and the beam is amazing. looks just like a factory bmw, mercedes, etc.. ( no flooding of the beam and the projector is adjustable too)

Retrosolutions HID's

Dave88LX, based on their web page it looks like the ballasts also incorporate power management using a digital circit board.

http://www.retrosolutionsllc.com/ser...04-2005/Detail

"Ballasts are waterproof, dustproof, and shakeproof and feature instant hot re-strike technology to protect already warm bulbs from excessive damage when restarting. Power Management Protection halts ballast operation when unsafe voltage input conditions arise, protecting newer vehicles from damage with excessive current draw common to lower quality equipment."

Looks like an interesting kit.

mossyoak11, which retrofit kit did you use? Do you have any pictures of your install?

Has anyone installed the Retro Solutions 35w slim ballasts? I wonder how much smaller they are compared to the standard size.

Thanks!

I installed a set of HID standard size ballasts on my Dad's '07 Ram and had to get creative with the mounting. I'll go with the slim for my truck.
