Can you give us an idea of when it will be shipped?

Will this monitor be a quick disconnect. I wouldn't mind replacing my analog gauges. I have four of them.

We are shipping some of the units with the Beta plastics and the USB is not able to update the unit. If you want to update it for additional things later it will have to be sent in first. We are only expecting to ship them this way for about 3 weeks and then it will be completed. Painted plastics should start shipping when that happens.

If you get one of the early units we know it has to be sent in to update the first time and we will swap the plastics then. Also the plastics don't look bad, they just are not the right color yet. We just have a bunch of the beta plastic and people did not want to wait.

What do you mean by quick disconnect?

Basically the gauge has a harness that you run down the pillar or wherever you want it. The has 3 small connectors on it. One for the main harness, one for the pyro and one for the add on harness.

The pyro has to be drilled and tapped of course. I really do not think you can use your existing pyro unless you want to modify the leadwire we send with it. Our pyrometer setup is all plugs and none of those annoying little screws. There is a plug on the thermocouple and the other side of the leadwire plugs into the gauge harness.

For boost and coolant you plug into the MAP and Coolant sensor.

For the transmission you have a small sensor that you screw into the transmission with some adapters.

Then you grab power from a fuse with the supplied fuse tap and ground it.

I guess it is really easier to remove than normal gauges because you don't have the trouble of wiring the lights and stuff together and you only have one cable running down the pillar.

It can be installed in 10 minues without the thermocouple and probably 30 minutes or less with the thermocouple. Maybe longer if you really take your time and have never done it?
