help please

I know I'm probably getting ready to answer my own question again. I'm having problems with my truck again. Its running kind of sluggish. Running down the hi-way it runs fine; if I start accelerating pretty hard it starts to bog down with hardly no power. I took it to a shop & they drove it & said that what they are feeling is fuel starvation. I was thinking the same thing but I thought they would at least put a monitoring system on it to see what exactly its doing. The original system has 250,000 miles.

If that is the issue what is a good all around fuel system upgrade. Like always I hear good & bad about both BD & FASS. I've heard that FASS is noisy & they wish they went another route. BD doesn't put out as much but its quieter. Once the injectors go out I plan on upgrading them just a little bit.

Have you changed the fuel filter?

Glacier Diesel system would be another choice for a LiftPump..
Add the 2 micron filter while you are at it..

Check the Rail pressure and LP pressure. Look for boost leaks. that is my next suggestion.

AirDog. Great pump, great instructions, great customer service on and off the forums, lifetime warranty, and they've quickly updated their pump to address issues from previous installs. Wouldn't think twice about it myself...
