Question help need quick answer to quad commander Question.

Sorry for bothering everybody but i am in the process of installing the quad commander and i have a dumb question. Wear are you guys putting your quad commander ground at?? the instructions say to install on the bolt close to the firewall?? do they mean inside the cab or out side in the engine compartment?? so far it has been pretty easy install. the only bolt i see out side in the engine compartment. is a ground stud on the left uper inside fender behind the left battery. i was going to install the ground there but the ground wire is not long enough or i am doing something wrong?? any help would be very helpfull. thanks Mopar72

it doesn't matter if it is grounded inside or outside the engine bay. it just needs to be grounded to some bare metal, don't use any of that cast aluminum it can cause issues with the commander readings.

I used a bolt on the inside close to where I ran the wires in through the firewall.

I ground my Commander, Pacbrake, and light switches to a bolt behind the accelerator pedal, kind of low on the firewall. I think it's just above the carpet edge. If I remember right its a 13mm nut.
