Help with Dr. Performance Predator

I have the Dr. Performance Predator on my 06 that was installed by the dealer when I bought it. They screwed me on that price but that's another story. In reading the brochure I see you can add a switch that can turn the module off, turn it to performance or towing mode. Has anyone bothered to install this switch or is this just another money gimmick. It seems to me that if it can do three different functions then there should be two or three wires for the switch and not just one. Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Make sure you have the adjustable version. There are two Dr.Performance modules. One just plugs right into the MAP sensor and the other is adjustable. If yours is like the one I have it just plugs in the MAP sensor at that's it, what ever power the box adds is what you get, you can't turn it on or off unless it is removed.

What stage do you have¿

on my unit, you can only wire up a switch for ON or OFF to the yellow wire.

My box the stage III version has three different levels stock is down, performance in the middle, and tow is up towards the side of switch with slash in it. It all runs off the yellow wire which can connected to the box and a ground wire.
