well,,,,, I have had great luck with my stocker at 80K miles on the motor. Others have not had that good of luck. Mine has seen 75-80 PSI quite frequently on the street and numerous shots of nitrous, but has taken it all and has been on the truck for 40K miles at this time. The first one left go at 40K miles and was more from a stud install error than anything else. The TQ wrench was faulty and did not torque the nuts at 125. The first full throttle run on the road with the studs and the gasket went pop.

The way I figure, I will most likely replace it with another stocker when the time comes. I will not be going o-ringed or fire ringed unless the gasket becomes a common problem. But for the abuse mine has seen, if I have to replace one every 40K miles, I will be satisfied with that.

As I mentioned above, not everyone will have that good of luck.

and alot will depend on how warm the motor is before mashing the go pedal.
the tstat has to open and cycle for all materials to be up to temp and expanded to where they will be once hot.

Is there another company making performance head gaskets? I thought a Cummins gasket was all we had, just add fire-rings and studs?

Well you know mine has seen constant 55psi and bursts to 60psi with my setup for a year before the studs were installed. Mine has never seen any drugs so far and that can surely change the cylinder pressure even at 60psi.
