Have a dual fuel filter head and need install tip

Installed Evil twin's finally. So for clean fuel insurance I purchased a dual fuel filter head with 2 cat 1r-0749 filters. My question is - should I install it on the suction side or the pushing side of the fass hpfp pump? Or does it even matter?
Thanks

pressure side. would be hard on the pump if you do it on the suction side with 2 of those filters back to back.

You are welcome. I would hate to see the pump get damaged trying to suck that much fuel thru 2 of those filters. You should be good to go.

The 750's look much shorter than the 749's. I will use the 749 first and probably use 750's from then on. You also mentioned the 749 has higher flow rate. Is that an advantage or will the 750 be fine?
Thanks

Yes the 749 has a higher flowrate but it is designed to be used on engines three times the size of our engines. So it is a bit overkill, the 750 is more than enough IMHO.
