If there isnt a speed limiter I dont see why it couldnt do 160mph
The GC's are better knowen for their off the line launches since their AWD and will smoke the 300 and charger srt8 till the top end and then they will pull due to the lighter weight. 300/charger srt8 are good for over 160 stock. Check youtube.
I also heard that before DC released the GC SRT8 that they were running mid to hig 12's during testing. They decided to limit the amount of TQ managment and power to the greater public.
Unfortunetly there isnt a EFI Live style programming for the Hemis yet but once they do its goon be nuts.
Hennessy even has a twin turbo version on a Cherokee 700+hp AWD

Dude if your Cummins truck can beat one in a quarter mile, hats off to you. I have driven one and they are fast. I was disapointed at the highspeed handeling, though the GY RSA tires are poor, might be a lot better with the F1's. I have no doubt the 700 hp turbo one would do 175-180 , they are quite low, not your typical boonie runner Jeep!

Took a look at some You Tube videos and the SRT-8 is a consistent 13.5 second ride and traps a little over 112 mph right out of the box. Just not sure it has enough gitty up to reach 180 mph.

SRT10 is supposed to be the fasted production truck in the world. 154.587 miles per hr. Not sure the horse power at stock. Getting to 150 is one thing, getting it up to 180 is another. I read somewhere about how much horses it takes to gain a mile an hr after 120 and its quite amazing how how things multiply out. Either way they seem pretty racey.

155mph top speed. Held it there for a long time. Z06 kept going. Vette was my brother Jeep was my buddy. He talked trash my brother talked back. We are talking 4-5 mile pull. Ocean Parkway on Long Island is long and straight.

I remember my old vette was limited at 155... my Jag at 165. While possible with right gearing, in this litigious world, I can't see factory allowing more than than 155... if that. Still, I know 1st hand they have the stuff.

There's guys who have hit the factory speed limiter at 170-173mph, and ones who claim higher after a tune that disables the limiter. Check out the GC SRT-8 forums.
That's a pretty solid kill ramtd02, they are a low 13 second truck right out of the box. I've got a friend who took his brand new 07 to Castrol Raceway and ran a 13.6 with basically no miles on it (corrected to a low 13 at sea level).
You can search around on youtube and see how the strokers, GSM blown and ASM blown ones run. There's even a few blown 426ci strokers out there. They launch like they're sitting on the steam catapult of a carrier

My girlfriends mother has a jeep srt8, top speed factory is 155, will not go over that, if you hear its over that its not...the darn thing rev limits out after that, its bouncing off rev limit at 155. dont let people fool you unless they have a lot of cash into that tranny to make it work out for them.
