Got Wheels and Tires...

Finally manned up and got a set of H2's and waiting for my delivery of 37'' Toyo MT's.

Now for my question, Suspension is going to be 3'' from Thuren, ill be getting the longer trackbar, control arms etc..but im worried about the steering with the large 37's, would it be worthwile to buy a DSS (http://www.klmstore.com/index.asp?Pa...PROD&ProdID=89), wile im spending money and getting it all done right the first time? Or will it not be needed? Any Help is appericated!!!

I have had 3 dodge trucks 96 gassser, 05 CTD (stolen), 06 (Current).....my 05 with stock tires ate the steering box....so i'm erroring on the side of caution and getting my 06 some help.....sounds like you're going all out, what's another $200 for piece of mind?

The DSS is a good idea...the seals in your steering box last a lot longer...

DSS or Defiants' Sector Shaft would be a good idea w/ 37" tires. I will be getting one w/ my 35" tires. Just at the bottom of the list and in no hurry.

Take a pic of your truck w/ the 37" tires on the H2 Wheel. I might be looking to go that way when my 35's wear out. I have really never seen 37's on H2 Wheels. Curious how they look and fit. Even though w/ my 35's on H2's. Look like there is enough room for a true 37's. Especially Toyo's being the widest tire out there.

I will no doubt, another good question would be I really like Thurens Steering Stabilizer, but Im wondering if that will be enough or if I should just go with dual's from the start?

Im trying to eliminate any problems before they start, and what not a better place then to ask!

Here is a small pic of mine with H2s and 37s

I put a DSS on mine, made a big difference in shaft movement, worth the money!!

Carli Suspension has a new dual set up. It uses the Bilstien 7100 shock. One clamps on the tie rod arm where the stocker is located and the second is up out of harms way. I am not sure on the price. Give them a call.

A good single will be fine. My front end is rock solid with just the single Fox.
