The flexplate is a billet ATS ...as the TC is a 5 star.. so if it is gone then I should have trashed a shaft. It is getting louder so I'm gonna invest in an another TC that is built a little stouter...this truck only had a prostreet 66 on it that made less than 40psi...and only for a couple of runs...and I've only made 40psi of boost with Beta 4.4 and TST...so it has seen no power compared to the dually with 80+psi with no torque management on the ATS triple-lok. I was thinking of putting a nice little co-turbo on this truck to match up with the 62/14 I have ready to put on...but the driveline comes first. Kerry

I built my stock TC cut it apart and beefed it up with bigger disk. Was holding fine for about 6 months all of a sudden I was getting the same sounds you. P and N were loud D and R it would quiet down. Pulled tranny back because my noise was coming form the same place. Guess what i found broke two tabs off modded stock TC. Swapped out to a Suncoast and all is good now. I know you have billet TC but heres my guess, loose bolts on TC. Good luck and let us know.

Lucky

The noise finally got crazy and turned to a tickety tickety whine...so I dropped it off to my tranny guy....all bolts except one were loose. No damage to bolts, holes or TC. The truck is quieter than ever with the bolts properly torqued again. I'm so glad the TC and billet flexplate were ok. KS

I was going to say...that sounded like mine when my flexplate was hanging on by a thread.

Sounds like the same thing that happened to Phil's red truck... wonder why a positive locking fastener isn't being used?
