Got the skinny on rail pressure from Cummins!
AK -- on the TST, my understanding is that some trucks ransomly set a harmless crank position (I think) code as a result of buggy ECM programming, but that with this exception the box is rock solid. some stock trucks are setting codes at low rpm lugging conditions even (no box) . this is going to be an interesting saga to watch. With the duration and timing approach that is so attractive, I'm about ready to hang a code-reseting instrument on the OBD port and just clear them when they come. Maybe TST could hook up to the OBD port under the dash and automatically reset codes of certain types if they occur

Heard anything else about how the truck runs with this box? I remember seeing some folks report that it ran a little ruff. Kind of lost it's smoothness so to speak. Any speculation on what is causing that would be helpful.
Interested in the fuel starvation question from "banshee" as well.
yup. most any OBD II scanner will work. I'm using Alex Pepers stuff (obd-2.com). I think I have a bad interface (gateway) but he's really good at making sure I'm happy. anyway I like this stuff because I can configure virtual gauges and monitor cool stuff on my laptop.
I've got the same interest as you re: rough running. so far, the only comments I've heard are that the higher settings may cause this -- one guy had such exhaust manifold pressures he was floating valves. engine not happy. but thats just because this box (on level 9) gives more than the stock air supply can handle. I know Rod reports very nice enjoyable power.
