Got my Ramifier
Guys lets here some input on the box as soon as you get it on... If I can't figure out a way to make my EZ (in cab / on the fly) adjustable then I might be stepping up to one of these boxes...
Is it smooth power?
Peaky when cold?
Is the cruise jumpy?
Idle lumpy when cold?
EGT's???
Come with a boost elbow?
Anyone know the torque numbers?
Thanks
Dave

I just drove my brither's truck with the Ramifier. Excellent truck. The driveabilty of this box is amazing. Good punch off the bottom and smooth increase of power all the way to the top. It is not near as peaky as others I have tried. At Boise's elevation and current temp, there where no Temp issues unloaded at full power. Ran the same or slightly less than stock. Boost is also acceptable. Never spiked higher than 34. I suspect that number may rise once the tranny can hold and give the box full load...see below.
However, for those who think the stock auto likes the full 100 hp...I will have to strongley disagree. It is too much power. The converter never catches up. Engine will rev out till 3k and will stay there. Still is very fast...but you are definately heating and will eventually burning that tranny up.
Try turning the box down a little at a time on similar full trottle runs from a stop. When the rpms actually drop the correct amount at each shift, that will be the "safe" highest setting. It will hold at about 75% or so. The truck actually is faster at that setting too. My bro needs a converter and vb soon!
Kudos Dennis on an excellent box. I may be speaking to you on a custom program Ramifier for my setup (no boost fooling so that is can run ahead of the TST at the MAP) in the short future.

Hey dennis I know I don't need a PCB for this job. That was the ez. Put on the ramifier this weekend and WOW. Tons more power and bottom end. Had a friend riding with me and I had the box turned down. Asked him how he liked my new power. He said it still felt the same and I waisted my money, So I floored it and the started turning the magic ****. The truck started to pull harded and harded then the rear tires let loose in third. Laid a long patch of the black stuff and was smiling the whole way. Going back hoe last night it was a blizard so it was nice to be able to turn of the power and keep the traction.
Thanks Dennis for wearing out my tires.

Got mine from Dennis' give away on TDR. It is a great box. Much better than the EZ. It will break the tires loose in 3rd as rockjeep stated. I can easily slip the clutch in 5th or 6th though, but my clutch has 91K on it. Power pup is on the way so we will see what happens then. My next call will probably be for a South Bend.
