Got my gauges installed!
Yup, we had a DTR Chapter 24 bomb/bbq yesterday, and it was a great time! We didn't have a lot to do, but it took most of the day. Putting in gauges is a very involved process. A great time was had by all, even if it was 103*. I went with the Isspro gauges that match the factory dodge gauges, and I put them on the A pillar. Also, we ditched my muffler, and I went to a straight pipe. All in all, I really like the way everything came out.
On to the pics:
Here's the fuel isolator location:

Here's the drilled and tapped exhaust manifold for the EGT's:

Here's the elbow drilled for boost:

Here are the gauges alone, installed:

Here are the guages along with the factory gauges to compare thier looks:

And while Cowhand was getting all that done, Gerry and I were ditching my muffler and replacing it with this:

After the stuff was done, we cooked up some carne asada and pollo asada, and had some beers and watched the bristol race on Cowhands BIG *** tv! It was a great time, and I can't wait to do it again. There is something about this board that brings comeraderie. When I pulled up to Cowhand's house, we were talking to each other like we'd known each other for years, with no qualms at all, yet, yesterday was the first time we'd actually met. All in all, I had a great time, and Id say the 2nd #24 chapter get together was a sucess.

The pipe was actually given to me by Bama on here.. Not sure if he had an exhaust shop make it up for him, but usually, you can get any muffler shop to make you the pipe for $50.00 or so.

Bama: I needed a sponsor in the exhaust dept. thats for sure! I love the way the pipe sounds, and so far I have no regrets.. While empty, the drone isn't bad at all. We'll see how bad the drone is when towing a load, but I don't tow enough to make it matter so much. Im loving the new sound.
Upon my drive up the mountain, under normal driving, my EGT's got to 1200 very breifly, but I made sure not to go above that.. the temps sat between 900-1000 most of the time.

Hey ! Dieseljunkie..am thinking of putting in the trans. and diff. heat gauges (with the new pan, and cover) in mine, did you buy the wire harness, when you got the gauges or did you wire it yourself?
I didnt buy any extra wiring when I bought the gauge setup from www.dieselmanor.com, but Cowhand had some extra wire on hand, which we used, and I had to make a trip to the hardware store for some spade connectors, but other than that, I didn't need any other wiring harnesses.

Hey, I'm about to install one of the new style Isspro EGT's myself... and had a couple of questions.
Where did you guys decide to mount the circuit box?
Where was it most handy to connect to ignition switched power?

We mounted the circuit box under the dash with some zip ties. We tapped into the headlight wires in the panel behind the headlight switch. We tapped into the dimmer wire, so the gauges would dim at the same time as the factory gauges. The wire was orange with a black tracer stripe.

Thanks Dieseljunkie.
I think I have the lighting wire figured out (orange with white stripe in my year, I believe).
I was more interested in the keyed power source you used, the one for the red wire from the circuit box?
Is there a spot in the fuse box or some place intended for keyed power for accessories, or did you tap a wire under the dash somewhere?
