Greg, I just think some people are , humm, a little special....

Dude, I've read your posts quit a bit and you've always been respectful to others, so I'd just pass that one off to bad DNA.

I got my 600 for towing not for racing. When it comes to towing heavy loads, I'll take a Cummins anyday of the week......it's a much happier engine towing over all the rest. I speak from experience too....No more Fords for me.......just traded in my Duramax 7 months ago......good truck, with more than enough power.......but my new CTD is better overall. Someone on the forum said it best....There are those who have a Cummins and those who wish they had one."

i played with a buddy of mine with an 04 powerstroke, he has the edge juice with attitude chip on 5 and my tst on 6/6, he left me hard fron the lights those fords rip from a dead stop, BUT>>> on the highway at 60 mph we both hit it the dodge pulled 2 truck lengths till ford hit govenor at 158kph and the dodge was still pulling hard, so just dont race from a dead stop and youll take them.

Furd Engine

Just my opinion, but I think that we have trouble with the Furds from a dead stop and in the 1/4 mile due to their Turbo. I don't think they have an engine advantage at all. That Variable Geometry Turbo slingshots the truck and that take off is hard to overcome stop light to stop light or even in the 1/4 mile. Sure would be nice to see what would happen if we had a similar turbo. Wouldn't it?

no sh.. OT_OF_HERE that ford looked like a dragster when it squatted from the lights in 4x4 and the truck was no hopping on dry pavement in 4x4 i swear the front tires were almost coming off the ground, theyre insane from a dead stop so pretend you didnt see him till your rolling then hit it.
