Good value Quiet performance exhust
Good value Quiet performance exhust
Looking for a new exhust... i did the muffler delete three years ago and frankly i am tired of it... and with this truck being use for buisness it seems unprofessional.
So i am looking for either a replacement muffler (would have to be 3.5 in and 4" outlet. this is the earliy 04) or a full replacement 4" exhust. but i dont want to spend alot. I found an MBRP full 4" system for 300 or so and thinking about doing that. how do they sound? are they real loud?
Suggestions? and dont say put the stock muffler back on. i don't have it anymore...

I can't claim to have any personal experience but I've heard others suggest the Aeroturbine line. They claim the 4040XL Resonated version isn't much louder than stock. I don't think they come in 3.5" in 4" out, but you can get adapters.

Donaldson makes some great mufflers, I had 5" straight pipe on my old 2000 and put the donaldson 38 I believe and it was a lot quieter in the cab and much more toned down outside, but a little louder than stock.
I'm running the Aero Muffler 4040XL on my '08 and its barely louder than stock but gives it a nice deep rumble.
