Good Diesel Shop in Western NC
Good Diesel Shop in Western NC
Well I think I am going to bite the bullet and order my performance goodies. I was wondering if anybody knows of a good diesel shop or good Cummins mechanic in western NC that could help with the install. I plan on ordering a set of injectors, modded cp3, turbo, ATS manifold, head studs, FASS, air intake, clutch and either a TST or a Smarty. My main concern is the head studs, injectors and cp3. Thanks in advance
The closest place I can think of is Jeff Garmon in Atlanta. There web site is Dieselperformancemotorsports.com .There is a shop opening in Asheville but they dont work on Dodge.Where in western NC are you?
Olee Poole is in Salisbury.
I'm in WNC also and believe me... I've looked and there aren't any.
There are a few around though....
as mentioned Jeff Garmon in Atlanta, he's a 2 hr drive.
Dp-Tuner is in Asheville but, I think they do mostly Fords
Power By Poole is in Salisbury which is a little north east of Charlotte ( 4hr drive )
I don't know how much actual work they do but, there's Automotive Specialists on Mauldin Rd in Greenville, SC
and one more, you have these guys over in Knoxville, TN.... MCN Diesel
There's probably a few others but, not really within a decent driving range.

Where do you work in Morganton? My dad's been doing some work at a plant up there for two or three years now. Just wondering if its one of those small world things. There is a diesel shop here in Rabun Gap. About a two hour drive. I know they have done some high performance work. They work on all size trucks and they are really good at what they do. If you want their number pm me or look it up on the yellow pages. CWC Repair is the name. Been in business for at least fifteen years.
Wicked Diesels has done all my work. they really know what there doing, and will beat anyones prices. There the only people within 3hrs of me i would let work on my truck. thats why i dont mind driving over an 1hr to them... I'll be gettin the rest of my mods done there too... Shane the owner, has a 700+hp 2nd gen truck, and a 05' that are bad, so u can see there work when u go there... and Shane makes there Billit fuel systems there. awsome pieces, puts FASS to shame.... U wont regret goin to them..
Power By Poole
Power By Poole, in Salisbury, NC for me. I live in Shelby and have been to his shop a couple times and I think that he is one of the better shops in our area. He seems very professional and good to work with. The only problem is that he does all of the work by himself, so it is sometimes hard to get him on the phone because he has his hands full of twin turbos or a tranny build. I must say though that he will be the only place that I have any work done. His website is www.powerbypoole.com and has all of his contact info right there on the page.
