All I can tell you is one of my friends just bought an 04.5 quad cab 4x4 SLT short bed from a dealer for 24k.

It only had 26k on it though. All stock except a front end leveling kit. Truck looked really good. He might have over paid he might not have I dont know.

I think it's a little high for that many miles. Call your banker and ask what the loan value is on the truck. That will give you some place to start.

You'd think a guy would spend an hour washing his rig before taking pictures to sell it.

i think that's a fair price for a 04.5 but if it's just a 04, 305/555 then I'd ask for 18 or even 17K.

Yea, I thought so; the guy told me he only owes 14K and change on it. he lives just down the road from my house so it would be convenient if I could work a deal out with him I’m looking for a good work truck that I could fit the wife and kids in. does anyone know if I could or what it would take to bolt on my 22.5 dually rims and tires and add some mega cab fenders to the rear?

I would call it a fair price but not IMO a GOOD price. I have been avidly shopping in GA/SC area for a couple of weeks via ebay and trucktrader and have seen more than a few with that milage for considerably less. Though pricing averages seem to vary regionally.

I think thats a pretty good truck for the $. it just needs cleaned up, but it looks clean inside and not ragged out. If he has records on the maintenance I wouldnt be afraid to buy it. If its an 04.5 that truck can be brutal if you want it to be.
