im about to do some work on my tranny and was about to purchase the parts from nadp but i see so many people are hear using Goerend parts. and suggestions? i understand both of these are outstanding parts i just would like to go with a good price with good reliability

 

I bought my converter from Dave when I built my 47re a few years back. I also bought his valve body kit and a couple other hard parts and followed a few of his tips and it's been smooth sailing since.....matter of fact I sold three of his box units to customers of mine. Wish I could get more to see the light.

I'm surprised at how well the Goerend VB makes my tranny shift at light throttle. Also the TC lockup is nice and smooth, much better than stock. When you put the pedal down, the shifts are nice and firm. I couldn't be happier!

I used Dave's parts and tq convertor and everything works perfect. He even called me on a sunday to see how things went. Super nice guy to deal with!

You can call him and e-mail him.. I suggest both. He can be difficult to get a hold of initially to talk to. He won't sell you anything you don't need. But his tranny rocks!

 

Dave's work , products and service are the best!!! I called and left a message asking him about ATF. He not only called back and told me what I needed, A bottle of Lubeguard additive showed up at my house two days later. He was going to call me back with the Lubeguard part #, but instead he just sent me a bottle!
