Georend tranny
Finally got my tranny put in this weekend. Havent gotten to drive it much yet, but it shifts more like a truck should shift and the TC is much better than the factory unit. I have to give the guys at Goerend props for their great service, there was a mixup and some of the parts I needed for the tranny were not shipped with the transmission, Dave more than made up for it by overnighting the parts to me and even made sure I got them the next day. I still have a DTT shift enhanser to install this next weekend so I have a little more control over how the transmission shifts. Cant wait to get my trailer on in a couple weeks and see how much better it tows. At least now the engine rpms change when the tranny shifts, before the TC was so loose rpms didnt change from one gear to the next, and required at least 2000rpms to get any power to the ground, now it'll do 20mph at an idle if I let it.

I'd like to hear what kind of difference you can feel in power from the juice with that tranny! i bet it feels like you added a bunch of hp just because you are getting it to the ground now.

It doesnt take a lot of throttle to spin the tires now. I'm taking it easy on it for a few days before I play too much, but level 3 feels like 5 used to on the juice.
