what gear to dyno. never done it before.

NV5600 use 5th well I see you have an 06 so you probably have a G56 but it is probably the same. With a 6spd use 5th if you are dynoing that 97 5spd then use 4th.

use 6th gear, ..you need to load your engine on the dyno, even if its a load dyno. You will gain at least 5-10 HP over what is lost through your overdrive. On my 12v i gained 70 HP (625-695) from 5th to 6th.
