GDP Tuning Kit

I'm trying to get my Glacier system to put out around 30 # fuel pressure. Does anyone know which shims will get me close?

Thanks, I changed it once. Couldn't get it to change off of 20 pounds no matter what I did. Finally figured out the the isolator needed more antifreeze and found I'm pushing 57#. Time to change.

Jay is there a benefit to running 27-30psi. I have my Glacier kit set at 20psi.

Tunning kit is sitting in my tool stand..lol

Thanks

Are you running the 2micron kit from them, or is it still going thru your stock filter housing?
NM, just saw your sig.

Just make sure if you run more pressure with the stock filter housing to get the billet cap for it(I believe if youre running more than 25-30psi, but not positive)
As far as more pressure, more fuel I imagine theres a point of diminishing return if you still have stock injectors/cp3, etc

I plan on getting the glacier kit sometime, when money allows...

Yeah, John recommends running 30 psi. I got the billet lid from genos. Glad to see I could help you out. Jay

I was running around 22 psi with it as supplied from gdp. Going off the advice above (can't find any directions from Glacier on the tuning kit?), I replaced the 0.020" shim that was in it with a 0.040 and (2) 0.020 shims, so basically 0.080" of shims. Pressure is now 25 psi at idle.

Maybe I should have left the original 0.020" shim installed to get closer to 30?

Who has used the stiffer spring supplied with the kit? What will that do to the pressure (how much of an increase)?

I used the stiffer spring, I think .080 worth of shims and putting out 32psi to the Floor it stage 2 pump. John did recommend pressure in the 30's. what I found was that when I went to WOT, pressure dropped to 22psi which is right smack in the middle of the peak flow rate (volume) for the walbro... ideal!! That said, I now have a 200gph FASS... someone need a walbro?
