Gauges / brake controller in cup holder?

Has anyone mounted or have thoughts about mounting gauges and / or brake controller in the center console cup holder area?

Thanks one and all for the input. I just got the truck and I am in the process of purchasing gauges and the controller and figuring out where to put them.
