gauges

Is there a diesel shop near ( cecil county) Northern Maryland that anyone would recommend for gauges? Has anyone had dealer install gauges? Do not want to void warranty by tapping into anything. Thanks for the help.

I doubt it'd void anything... even my local dealers won't won't touch anything with performance mods says it's just a monitoring system... doesn't actually do anything.

I too am from Cecil County, (Earleville to be more specific) I don't know of any shops, but see a few guys with DieselDynamics on their windows. Their Rams far exceed my stock one, but I don't know exactally who is doing work for them. You might try Mikes, he's a Commercial Diesel repair shop, out on Rt 40 heading east before Landing Lane. Maybe he would know of someone that would do it? Chances are most of these guys are taking care of their own Mods, as anyone with a pick up truck with "big rig" stacks is not your average Maryland driver. I would imagine the toughest part (or at least the easiest to screw up) is the drilling and tapping part. The actual interior install part of the process (or maybe the whole job)? can be done by anyone of the two hundred "tuner" type shops in Delaware/Maryland.
Good Luck

FAQ section of Propane Injection Advertisment............
If hooking up a propane system to your truck won't void the Factory Warranty, I can't imagine gauges would. I Don't know what Diamler says about "Aftermarket Products".
Q: Does this system void my warranty?

A: This system in and of itself does not void warranty, unless manufacturer specifically says aftermarket products void warranty. The dealer must be able to prove that this system actually caused the damage in question. Federal Law provides protection for vehicle owners. This law is called the Magnuson-Moss Act of 1975.

Th M-M Act sounds great on paper, but Dodge's warranty paperwork has a very clear paragraph explaining that "Performance Enhancing" modifications WILL void the Drivetrain warranty.

I wouldn't want to be the owner who dropped my truck off for a drivetrain related (or any other trouble for that matter) warranty problem with a propane injection system installed.

Daimler/Chrysler has much more $$$ to pay legal fees than I do.

Gauges, on the other hand do not "enhance performance".
They only help me monitor the drivetrain systems to assist in early detection of impending problems.

Guages if you get all the right parts arent that hard to install time consuming yes but not extremely difficult.
