Gauges for '06

This has probably been asked, and I searched, but here goes....The truck is stock & I have no intention if installing go-fast-goodies. FYI...I'm not having any issues, just want to learn what the normal range is so I can buy appropriate gauges.

I would like to know the normal pressure & temp ranges:

Fuel Pressure: 7-10PSI?
Boost: 0-30PSI?
Oil Pressure: 10-50PSI?
Water Temp: 180-220F?
Trans Temp: 140-190F?
Diff Temp: Ambient-230F?
Pyro: <1300F?

Anything I missed?

TIA

Tony

That's pretty close. Most fuel pressure gauges will go 0-30.
Most oil pressure will go 0-80, water and diff up to 0-250. Trans to 280 or so.
You could go 0-60 on the boost, might as well. Many a stocker driver has been bitten with the power bug. I'm going to ad a module of some kind but that's about it--along with better breathing plumbing--already done.

I'm getting ready to install mine soon. Most are Di-Pricol, a couple of VDO's and 1 Auto Meter.

Unless you have specific places for all of the analog gauges, this might save a ton of money.

The only thing is won't do is the diff temperature.

as noted... trans temp can hit 250 or 260, eg backing a trailer into a tight spot...

I'm in the market for an FP gauge myself and it looks like the common ranges are 0-15 and 0-100 with fewer 0-30... is 0-30 the right size for a stock setup or is 0-15 ok?

Thanks for the replies!

Here's what I'm planning: 3 gauges
1) Pressure, 0-100psi
2) Temp, 140-250?
3) Pyro

All gauges will be electric. The pressure gauge will switch between OIL, Boost, and Fuel. The temp gauge will switch between water, trans, and Diff. The pryo will be dedicated.

I am leaning towards full sweep auotmeter electrics.

Any thoughts?

Tony
