Gauge Comparison ?

I am planning on purchasing a SMARTY near the end of the month...before having it I would like to get some gauges. I've been searching these forums for some input and have found that the ISSPros and DiPricols are favored. Are there any comparisons between these two to compare what makes one more appealing then the other?
If not user and veteran feedback is appreciated. I've used SPA Techniques in the past for some of my automobile projects...I just don't feel like forking out the Benjamin’s for them and the sets mentioned above seemed more aimed towards diesel trucks where the SPA's are universal and mostly set for track purposes.
From what I can tell the ISSPros' seem more complete as a package and the DiPricol seem to have a nice tidy wiring system...but still require extra pieces to have them installed correctly. This I pulled from the Diesel Manor website that I found fvery imforming from another thread. Is there any other things that make one more beneficial then the other or does it just come down to preference?
Many thanks

I think the SPA's work excellent with diesels. They're expensive but you get what you pay for...

I used DiPricols, pics in my gallery, but there's tons of gauge threads on here if you do a search...

I think it comes down to what you like for looks and what your budget is. For the most part the performance of the guages are all fairly close.

Not really. There are some huge differences in the accuracy and response times.

Here's a link to one of the tests/comparisons.

I second that. I get all kinds of compliments from people that have different brand telling me how good mine look. I think that the ultra lite II's are a sharp looking set of guages.

The Westach combo gauge (boost/EGT) is very good if you prefer functionality over looks.

I'm very happy with my ISSPROS, what makes them even more appealing was the customer service from diesel manor.

jrussell awesome link that is exactly what I was looking for. I did call Diesel Manor today to discuss the ISSPro and DiPri gauges. From what it seems the DM kit is more complete for the ISSPro's making it easier for the purchaser to install them cleanly...but taking a little bit longer to get the job done because things worth having take time.
The DiPri gauges uses LED's verses bulbs for lighting which I didn't know and have a bit of a cleaner lit look...which is confirmed in the link above.
As for the S.P.A's, as mentioned you get what you pay for...superior quality and there wiring makes them a no brainer to work with, along with the two in one gauge set up.
Thanks for the help DTR memebers...greatly appreciate it now the choice of going with a set from DM or dropping some coinage on the S.P.A's
