Question GASP - - I need more air, which intake??

I recently did a lot of mods to my truck, but still have the factory box with Amsoil Nanofiber in. Was doing a good job, oil ananlysis showed very low Silcates. However, now I need a lot more air. Don't want oiled filter, not knocking them as I have one in another truck, I just don't want to fool with it. I've narrowed my choices to - - -AFE Stage 2 - - - AEM Workhorse Heavy Duty and ---the injen a new product from amsoil. WHICH ONE ?????? Especially would like to hear from some of you hotrodders that have one of these would you buy it again. Thanks guys

S&B gets my vote, great lookin setup and very easy to install! I search around and looked at different ones, the S&B was about the cheapest and i just couldnt see spending the money on the AFE when the S&B was about the same thing and was alot cheaper!! Just my $.02

I have no coplaints with my AEM Workhorse. For the price of the Amsoil Injen you could buy 2 other brands.

I am very pleased with my AEM:

AEM Workhorse HD Diesel Intake
P/N # 21-9211DC

This is the part number for the silver powdercoated intake tube. I chose the powdercoated tube because of the slate silver color, to blend in better with the engine bay.

I also knew I wanted an intake kit that already came with an oil-free filter.

The filter on this kit is HUGE. AEM says that compared to the standard 9" Brute Force Dryflow Filter, the Brute Force HD Dryflow filter features
over twice the surface area of filter media.

The intake pipe is made from mandrel-bent, lightweight 6063 aluminum. The entire kit almost floats in the engine, since it has dual rubber soft mounts for the intake pipe and utilized two more of the rubber grommets off of the battery tray.

The instructions were not all that great, not detailed. The shipping weight of this intake kit is 21 pounds, so it is very large and built very well.

The DRYFLOW filter is made from a single-layer of pre-pleated polyester synthetic filter media with a nylon-reinforced internal cage for added structural rigidity. For conical filters, the base and cap are made from polyurethane, which will not shrink or crack like plastisol, a popular material used by some of our competitors. Workhorse Diesel oval filters use deep pleats and Zytel 15% GF plastic for the cap and base. This construction assists in the overall structural rigidity (oval Diesel DRYFLOW filters use 12.5 square-feet of media for maximum flow, approximately 1350 CFM).

I am looking on afe's website at some of their stage 2 intakes, how do I know if they come with an oiled or dry filter? I see type XP, type CX, and type Si, filters listed with the intakes. I am considering buying one but I want to make sure I can get a dry filter with the kit???

Check out this website and make your own. www.psmbuick.com Use two 4" elbows and about 6" of 4" alum. pipe, Amsoil nano fiber filter and a 4" hole at the bottom of the filter box. Works great and cost a whole lot less.
