gas mpg problem
Actually for gear choices you do have the choice of a 4.30 made by yukon. my milage in town with alot of light to light driving is about 14 as an average. i have seen as high as 17 on the hwy. the truck has 13000 miles on it but it also has a 5" lift, full bumper replacements front and back so when i consider the weight and wind it is fighting it's not that bad.

so all this made me think... si i decided to do a experiment...
as stated i average atleast 20 mpg ... i filled up on b99 yesterday, this normaly causes a 2-3mpg drop for me.. i then proceded to drive yesterday and today(55 miles) like i stole it.. ie: i never hit 6th, held it agenst the govenor in 5th on the freeway (just over 75mph) and 4th in town(55mph agenst the govoner) trafic was the usual stop/go for most of the comute, i used 2 throtle positions, idle when stoped, on the flor the rest of the time..
the result.. my average economy over the 55 miles... 14.4
on the bright side it must have cleaned up my injectors a bit, cause now even on bio im seeing higher than average economy.. the short trip to pick the kids up and back resulted in just over 26 mpg... of course tis is back roads @ mostly 40-45mph, but the same trip normaly results in 24 mpg average..
heres to the 610 motors and there "economy"
