Question for Quad

Just installed the standard 100 HP module.

The instruction booklet and the file on your websight both referred to a data link connection for a plug in under the hood on the wiring harness.
My purchase date was 06/06 and I do not have a data connection on my harness.
Is this something that has been changed but not reflected in the installation manual?

I can tell ya they eliminated the use of the data cable, sgnal from it was to noisy electrically speaking, they now do their thing with the connections you have, and you probably missed the updated info on the website. plug it in and enjoy, very nice module.

Thanks, I thought I had read that somewhere but was unable to find it again.

I do have it hooked up and I'm really pleased at how smooth it is. Install was a snap, just have to find a suitable place for the switch.

I have only tried the 30 & 60 settings. Slight power difference with the 30 and very noticeable on the 60.

I can now see just how addictive these are.
