it appears the bulb behind my gas gauge has burnt out. kind of ticks me off considering the rest are perfectly fine. i was wondering how i get to this bulb and if its a pain to replace. is it just l ike the HVAC control bulbs.

 

Remove the instrument cluster and the bulbs just pop in the back. Twist like a 1/4 turn and it should be a 194 bulb IIRC.

Once you get the surround off, there are just four screws actually holding the cluster in place. It just pulls out after those screws are removed. You have to be a little creative to get it out from behind the steering wheel, but it isn't bad at all. IIRC, the surround just pops out too. No screws holding it in.
