Garrett turbo?

Question Garrett turbo?

hey guys was just wondering if anybody runs a Garrett GT3782R or GT3788R sounds like 3 differnt power level's stage 1 = stock replacement handles 170 hp over stock stage 2= street app. 270hp over stock, stage 3 370 hp over.... Now once again anybody running one of Garretts turbo's let me know what you think about it looking for my '07 5.9. thanks guys

TRX here is running a stage 2 and seems to be happy with it. Oywrench had a stage 3 with mixed results. However he switched to a different turbo and had the same issues so who knows.

It would not be worth it to get a stage 1. I would do the stage 3 to have the extra headroom for the mods you know you want to do down the line.

I'm running the Stage 2. It works great for me a big improvement over stock spools sooner, and cools much better than stock. If I was not towing all the time I probably would have gone with the stage 3 but this one works good under load. This turbo makes a great daily driver. And yes you can hear it, quite a bit louder than stock.

Alright; yeaah i just left black widow diesel's web page where my buddy got his GT38R for his 7.3 power joke, their asking $2,500 and I found a place local to me asking $18ish. looks like its a h2o cooled turbo, is my turbo h2o cooled ?

Your stock turbo is not water cooled but the garrett one is.

Okay i have a shwitzer S300 i was thinking about stealing from my 12er, and I think a boost fooler is all i should nead right ? than eventually ;One day maybe TWINS wwww/ the S400 don't know maybe? But for now what do think about hi-jacking the S300 for the "CR"

You can make anything work I supose but no a turbo off a 12v is not gona work on a CR. At least not without a lot of modification.
