Future Truck Project

I thought I would put my list of future mods for my truck. I've done it before but I think I've calmed it down a little. This is just drive train oriented.
I want my truck to have a reliable towing power of 350-400 hp and 700-900ft.lbs I already tow at 362 and 640, but I want to be able to do that wit h the Quad set at 60 or 65(XZT) I will have it do more than that but not while towing. Something like a Smarty or Tripledog w/Crazy Larry will help me in my street setup (what I can with the weight I have)
I'm going to go about this with:
Intercooler
Twin or VG turbo
Propane (a little dab'll do ya)
Injectors
(I could sure do that with electronics alone and cheaper until I burn something up)
This is after the improvements of F.A.S.S, and the Race Quad with an XZT program for 60.

Now for the transmission back.
If something happens to mine and they have a hard time finding a NV then I may just have them drop in a G-56. If this happens then I will put some form of overdrive on it.
On the NV they should have 3.55 gears by then, I might get those and an underdrive unit. Either way I will also upgrade the clutch.
I'll probably also have a gauge pod with an extra egt pyro along with a pumpkin temp.
After looking at all this in writing I wonder if I'll ever afford to do any of this. A guy can dream can't he?

I would NEVER trade a nv5600 for a g56. In my opinion that is taking 100 big steps backwards!!

If you need a fuel system I highly suggest a GDP kit. Other than that I can't help you much on towing. My truck is just a street queen

My other project (yeah I can't afford the first one) is a single cab 3/4ton auto. I want something that I can run around town (and park at the college) in, that is light (but it has to be a diesel that I can do a project with so it's a truck)Also it will be a product demonstrator (what I sell). The selection:
Dodge
94-98 12V
98.5-02 24V
03-07 CR (not likely unless cheap)
07 6.7 (I'd have to come upon it like I came upon my current truck)

Ford
99-03 7.3

GM
01+ Duramax

What I'd like to do is have one that I can upgrade electronically so the 12V might be out of the equation (although I would still like to have one, but not for the specific job I have in mind) The 6.7 I might just take it to Quad and leave it with them for a month. (once again yeah right)
Well they'll be partial product demonstration trucks I'm thinking about putting a BHAF on going through the hood on the dodges (scoop on the other 2) and put the top of an air cleaner over it on the hood. Otherwise the usual electronics, turbo (simple single not like what I want on mine), injectors, Stingray Corvette style side pipes. It will either be an alcoholic or high on propane. Of course an extra fuel pump and a probably a built transmission (at least a shift kit and converter)
All of this with bare towing essentials (trailer brake, gooseneck ball, cd player) And it will have a cowboy camper on it. (At least enough of one to throw jackets and books in) Depending on the camper what I do about tool boxes.
And maybe some government bail outs.

A little more detailed on the order of things. Before my truck runs out of warranty it will have (with any luck and maybe a loan) the Quad update, F.A.S.S., injectors, and clutch. Go ahead and join in on listing projects.

Say no especially to a powerjoke. I'd build a 12v if I was you for your next truck.

There is a little blurb in that post after the list that says it is a product demonstrator. There are people with Fords I would like to sell to, so that's mainly why there is a Ford on the list (happen to notice I said 7.3 and not a 6.0) and I mainly deal with electronic enhancement so that's why I said 24V over a 12V (Don't get me wrong I would still like to have a 12V, but not for this case.)
