Fuel system help (AGAIN)
Fuel system help (AGAIN)
SO I have the xxfuel system filtration kit(not installed). With the mods I plan on doing I will have to get a lift pump. Im looking for 600 whp. So is there a way to put filters on the lift pump to get the 2 micron filtering or will I have to run my xxfuel kit at well. I'd like to keep it as simple as possible.

I'd think you could do something like a Raptor pushing the fuel through your filter setup. That would almost make it like a regular AD100/150. I see no problem doing that.
If you are removing the stock filter, I would have the pump before the filters just in case the pump comes apart. I left mine on just for the belt and suspenders idea.
I have the XX-fuel system, the one thing that I don't like about it is the lines are very hard to push on to the fittings. They make a fixture to push the lines on. That would have helped a lot when I put mine on. I did not get the lines on as far as I would have liked but I did add some hose clamps to all the lines after a week or so.
I talked to the owner of XX and he seemed like they put quality over everything else. The filters that they use are the Donaldson 2 micron and a Donaldson water separator. According to some info put up by AH64ID Donaldson says that filter is "under 3 microns".

My plan was a Titan tank, then pump, then XX filters, then factory filter. But if I could get a air dog or Fram that had the same fittings that a cat filter could fit on that would make the whole set up "cleaner"
