Fuel Pressure gauge, where to connect?
I'm installing my FP fauge I got from Diesel Manor.
Their site says to istall the tubing to the bottom of the fuel filter, is this the best spot?

my fuel pressure gauge installs into a fitting on the pump itself using an isolator. My guage also came from tst and its made by dipricol. The ones i have seen use an isolator that way they dont have fuel running into the cab instead its antifreeze.
If you dont run an isolator, install it at the bottom of the filter stand. If you use the isolator, install it at the filter stand or the CP3.
Without the isolator and connected at the pump, it will make some serious noise at the gauge. You can install a snubber or cut off valve to controll it, but mine would just start making the noise about a month later. I relocated mine yesterday and couldnt be happier. It makes no noise now mounted at the filter. I would still install a cut off valve if you run a line with diesel into the cab in case it should ever start to leak, you can cut it off if that happens.

One washer for each side of the banjo fitting on the line. Put one washer on the banjo bolt and put the bolt through the line. Then slide the other washer on the banjo bolt sticking out the other side of the line. Then screw the bolt into the hole.

No line on the bottom of the fel filter canister? I see you have an 06 and I have never worked on one that year so I will sit back here and see who else speaks up. Hate to give out bad info but I thought they were the same as my 05?
Yea, thats the line to hook to. You can hook at the pump or filter. Do yourself a favor and make the connection at the filter. Trust me. Take the inner fender liner out and you can get to it very easy. Takes like 7 or 8 sheet metal screws and the fender comes out
Billet cap is nice and if you had the money, it was well spent. If you plan on upgrading in the future to a walbro or something like that then it will take any worries of a split plastic cap out of your mind. It makes gauge install a snap to!!
I have already installed the cap and planning on putting the walbro kit on someday. I read on here to upgrade the cap before run over 22 psi of fuel. Still waiting on the gauges to come in . Glade to hear this will make the install easier on me . Thanks for the reply and help.

Thanks Dmax, less pulsating at the filter?
Some say you should pick it up at the pump instead (for more accurate readings I guess¿)

Yeah, the stock cap has problems closer to 30-35 PSI, but it is money well spent. That will be my next upgrade, as I have already gone teh Walbro route with the Big Line Kit from Glacier. I installed my gauge in the Big Line kit that runs from the filter housing to the CP3. There is a "T" in that line, and I installed the gauge there. I am running 20-22PSI with the Walbro right now, after filter, before CP3.
