Fuel Pressure Gauge Install
Fuel Pressure Gauge Install
Ok, so on sunday i was goin to install my fp gauge, but when i looked at my fuel line goin to my cp3...its a solid 90* fitting not the round fitting because i have the FASS. my question is...would it be easier to cut the line and put in a T or should i tap in somewhere else?
Most just cut the rubber line and put a tee in it. I didn't want to do that and with the FASS and big line kit I had no banjos left either so I went with the billett filter cap with a 1/8 NPT threaded port already in it. If you bypassed the stock filter housing then putting a tee in the hose is your only option at this point unless you want to "rig" something up at the CP3 inlet but I wouldn't advise that. I suppose you could go to the pressure outlet on the FASS block itself but to each their own.
If you have a rubber big line kit, it doesn't get much easier than cutting the line and adding a "T". I like the idea of having it right near the CP3 inlet so you know the true post-filter pressures it's seeing.
You might be able to find the parts from Lowes, but they would have to be pieced together. I would try a hydraulic/hose/fitting supplier if you have one locally. If you want to order one online I think Glacier sells them separately.
Assuming your hose is 3/8" ID, you need a fitting with 3/8" hose barbs on each end and a 1/8" pipe thread opening in the middle.
