I have been reading about timing, duration, pressure but a little confused. I had a leaking cp3 so i want be putting a pressure box back on my truck. So, i am still confused about timing and duration only programmers or modules etc.... My question is if you push more fuel to get more power how does that not raise fuel and rail pressure? Would someone please straighten me out on this subject.

 

No "more" fuel, just when it comes on and the duration of the injection event (AFAIK).

So the more is just that, more quantity, not actual pressure (within regular fueling parameters).

 

I'll do my best to answer the question.

A timing/duration box or programmer doesn't raise rail pressure, it decreases it. Alot of duration will drain the rail.

Any box or programmer will decrease the fuel pressure going to the cp3.

The only way to get more rail pressure is to add a pressure box or a cp3 mod... Or both

 

Don't run a pressure box and a modded CP3, That is what did my injectors in Just pick which one of the 2 you want.
