Fuel Mileage and Flux 3's and up
For those of you that have flux 3's, 3.3's or 3.5's, three questions:
How much fuel mileage did you lose from stock injectors?
Did low end "streetablity" suffer? Meaning things like a laggy take off, more smoke and etc.
How well do they tow heavy? (defined as 10k trailer and up)
Thanks!

I didnt read what you asked all the way. on the street my truck isnt bad. you can see some haze at night but it doesnt constantly roll smoke. if you want to smoke it will, but if you drive it normal its not bad at all. having twin turbos I dont see where you would have problems with like a flux 3. there was a member on here with twins on his mega cab with like a flux 2 or 3 that posted a video at the drag strip and his truck ran very clean and a 12.98 I think

Mine clear up on boost fine...no haze no smoke with twins...just a puff then gone...unless you lug/no boost.
I have seen no mileage change at all from stock injectors...maybe even better if I stay out of it.
Do 3's max on a single pump IMHO.

OK-- so how about towing performance?? My truck is still a towing vehicle first and I live and tow at high elevation (I live in the Sierras close to Lake Tahoe, 4000ft and up)
I am concerned about smoke and high egts when towing heavy in elevation.

These injectors are WAY to big to tow with in my opinion.
Simply because to really use these injectors you are gonna need a decent sized Single turbo at least.
I wouldn't even LOOK at these injectors if I still had to tow heavy.
DonM will chime in I'm sure though.

Thanks, Christian...
I am just trying to decide at what point "going big" is going to "keep me home" because I went "too big" and can't really tow... yet still be able to put up good #'s on dyno and track.

I know Don's busy... Isn't everyone?
Does someone here have a list of what the Flux #'s interpret to and what to expect where the 03-04 nozzles are concerned? I know the Flux 2's are 100hp and that's about it.
There was a description for the "mach" series and am looking for something like that.

Can't label and injector by hp...
What makes 100 hp on OEM electronics will/could make 200 or more on a big tune.
For instance...the Flux Mileage Injectors made 20hp on a stock programing (other than boost fooling) and made 70 hp on 150 hp of electronics.
My Flux 3.3's make a bunch (I can hit 50 psi) on stock programing...probably close to 175 or more.
What is your max goal?

No real goal in mind... it is more of "these are my mods and what I get I get" and really, just how big of an injector can I go and be practical for towing and fuel mileage... I would like to be comfortably in the 600's though.
