I use rubber kitchen drawer liner. Looks like this:

Last time I bought it from Wal Mart ina roll big enough to cover the floor of my Mustang. When I travel, I put it on the fold flat in the truck to keep everything in place: cool chest, suitcase, etc. Works really well.

I jast lay it on floor, and don;t attach it. But you could easily glue some Velco to it. Or even glue it directly to the floor.

Sears sells the same thing in smaller rolls for tool box drawer liner. It's exactly the same product, but Sears charges about 5 times what wal mart does.

I found some bathmats that match the interior of my truck. They have a rubber backing, they're cheap and I don't care how muddy the dog makes them. Roll them up, hose them off and let 'em dry in the sun or just pick up new ones next time I'm at Wally world.

get over to home depot and set some self adhesive grip tape, Its 2" wide and the same stuff as used on skateboards. Put it on the high spots and sliding problem goes away.

That's an excellent idea!

Good thread, and thanks for some of the ideas. My dogs seem to get aggravated when we go around turns and they slide from one side of the truck to the other too.
