How difficult are they to wire and what are the best ones to purchase? Mine does not have the wiring but does have the cut outs on the bumper. Thanks.

 

I would buy the factory foglight kit, It installs pretty easy. If your's is an ST model you will have to buy the right kit and drill a hole in the gauge cluster to mount the switch. That is the hardest part of all.

You also have to tap into the headlight wire for the signal for the relay. But I tapped the parking lights that way when the high beams come on the foglights stay on with them.

 

there is a plug on the headlight harness for plug and play. you also need a new headlight switch. that is if you are going for the factory ones. It takes about 45 minutes to do a complete install.

 

Factory lamps are OK. They're easy to install, and look good. You can get them fairly cheap on e-bay.

But, I owuld install an aftermarket set, with more power and a yellow lens. Hella make pretty good lamps. PIAA can be good, but they're pretty expensive.

You can use the factory wiring and switches with aftermarket lamps. If you get really high powered lamps, like 100W, you'll want to use a relay and bring in a bigger wire from the power distribution panel.

Some of the aftermarket lamps are a simple bolt in. And some require you to fab your own brackets. That's usually not a big deal, either. It takes longer for the paint to dry than it does to make the bracket.
