I just got my new ConOFE and readyto install.

What are the torque specs for the flywheel bolt and the pressure plate bolts?

Of coarse I will locktight the bolts as well.

I was told 105 for the plate and 38 for the torque. I would get a second opinion.

I got DEstructions with my OFE kit that gave the specs. I'll get them and repost. I'm pretty sure it was 120 ft lbs on the flywheel to crank bolts, and 30 ft lbs on the pressure plate bolts. I'd PM south bend clutch (peter) on here. He always gets right back with you.

Does anyone know if there are any special tools needed besides a tranny jack?

Never hurts to have a barring/engine turning tool (specifically made for Cummins B series). Snap-on or OTC has them.

I'm doing mine this week. So far..... tranny floor jack (neat toy), large floor jack, small floor jack, BFHammer, swivels, extensions, barring tool, breaker bars, torque wrench, impact sockets, ratchet straps, 17mm hex socket and more to come.

Mine's in!!

Dun got er did tonight. Only 4 hours and was nearly flawless. I could have done it in about 3.5 hours but I didn't study up on the dual mass flywheel.

Works great!!!!

Bolt checks tomorrow and mount the reservoir and the details will be buttoned up.

Can't wait to put the skinny pedal to the floor and not slip!
