Fluid damper 05

Can I put a fluid damper on an 05 with no modifacations.What damper is best buy for the money.Can I reuse my stock bolts.What to retorque bolts.?

Smooths out the "diesel" vibration inherent to the design. You will not regret it. Fluidampr is the best.

FluiDamPr is the gold standard... you should buy new crank bolts and pin the damper when installing.

Torque is a nominal value + degrees of rotation (i.e. 20ft-lbs + 60*). Torque wrench will click off between 95-135 ft-lbs.

It will help your tranny live longer, too.

Or you can just go the expensive route and have the engine balanced and blueprinted like me....

Fluidampr is a very worthwile addition. It does a much better job than the stocker which was designed with much lower HP and rpms in mind than what we are used to.

Was there any increase with power when you put on the FD? They are claiming an extra 10 horse, I don't understand where that would come from.
