floor-it stage 2 before injectors??

I was wondering if anyone ever installed a modded CP3 pump before doing injectors and if there was any noticable performance increase. I plan to get some Flux 1.8's soon and I allready have a pump here. Just thought about putting it on a few months before injectors- that will be a springtime mod. Do these engines pick up any power with just the stage II?

I know that the stock cp3 will have trouble supporting stock injectors on the 04.5 when the duration is turned up very much. The dip in the dyno curve is the rail draining. I installed one of the early Floor It stage I cp3s before swaping injectors and made more hp. "About 50 more" The truck will run better with the Floor It cp3 and I would install it before injectors.

My Flux 2's should be here today so I can put them back in. I have Floor It diesel building me a stage 2 pump as we speak. I see you are running the same stack as me but I have an '04.5. I thought the Juice on the '03 did pressure unlike the '04.5 which is only timing and duration? With a modded pump keeping your rail pressure up and your stack you are asking alot of stock tips. Of course it depends on your driving habits as well. I ran the Juice/EZ stack with stock pump and sticks and was very careful. When F1 installed the Flux 2 tips my injectors all tested out good.

Just so you know the Juice for the 03-04 cummins DOES NOT add pressure like some people still seem to think it does. My truck definately needed the EZ to give it some "punch" down low. The juice by itself was only felt above 1800 rpm's or so. I too was curious about that until I called Edge directly and they told me to stack it with the EZ box.

Then why would it have a connector for the rail pressure?

Having bigger injectors is useless if you drain the rail everytime you get on it...definately do the pump first

Yeah, I'm not too sure on that. Just going by what I've read. I noticed the same thing when I stacked my EZ. Alot more bottom end.

I ran that exact pump on mine with no injectors for a while. I dont think it hurt the truck. I got mine from a member on here because I thought I could run the tst and have no rail pressure issues or cut out and I did anyway. but the stage 2 supports good size injectors with no popping or cutting out on mine

I don't have a modded pump as of yet but I do not have any poping or serious loss in rp With flux 2's I could tell a huge difference when I added injectors and I was also worried like some guys but so good so far. I will definatly be doing a modded pump or duals but my truck runs awesome as it sits and a fyi, This is with all my electronics turned up. I'll be dynoing shortly to see if I can beat my previous number of 505hp. I think I'll destroy it according to the good ol but dyno

Well to all those that still think the Juice adds pressure please call Edge directly and ask them. Maybe you will learn something of FACT and quit bringing up hear-say about this topic.
