Some may remember, about 6 months ago, I was having problems with my Quadzilla XZT chip. Bascially, I could cruise down the highway about 100kms, then stop for coffee, start up again, and my check engine light would come on. My turbo was bascially shutting itself down, because my truck was producing too much boost.

I sent the chip away to Quadzilla for warranty work (great customer service, for that reason I would by from them again). They advised that the chip was fine.

So I started taking things off my truck, and putting stock pieces back on. The last piece I took off, was my Banks Hi-Ram intake. Finally, there are no problems with my XZT.

The moral of the story, if you have a Banks Hi-Ram intake, then you can't use a Quadzilla chip.

For sale: Banks Hi-Ram intake....

I would say, if the Banks High Ram is setting the overboost code, then you would be the first person to actually claim any benefit of the High Ram ever!

Think about it, it must really be ramming the air down in the motor as the name implies. So I wouldn't sell it, I would see what I could do to prevent the code. Or ignore it.
