FCA for the DIY CP3?
I plan on doing the DIY CP3 Mod and I was wondering if I could purchase the FCA (fuel control actuator) from the local Mopar store? I remember seeing the price for one a while back ($50-60) and I would rather have one in stock in case I screw up and cut the triangle. If I don't I'll sell the other in the classifieds. I called my local Mopar sercvice guy but he had no idea what I was talking about.
It is quite a bit more than you are pricing. But what you are suggesting is wise. It is closer to $100 and best to be gotten at a Cummins shop. Dodge dealers can be a lot more $$$.
There was a national shortage on these a while ago, I wonder if they are caught up now?

I thought the Diesel shop that sold the kits to mod the CP3. Relentless Diesel or someone like that.I was on their web site a few weeks ago and I thought modded FCAs were mentioned/available.Seems so many screw up doing them at home that it would make sense to me that they sold the modded versions.

I just got off the phone Dave @ Floor it Diesel and yes they do sell just the FCA. Not a bad price! 160 ish for the modded FCA
If they had a modded FCA before I did mine for $160 thats the way I would have gone!
