Angry Fass pressure

I have just purchased a Fass system and i would like to no if there are any starting problems due to higher fuel pressure. i talked to brad and he suggested the pump that puts out 150 gallons per hour, a buddy of mine has a 03 f350 with the Fass and it made that truck idle much smoother and take off was unreal. the install will be done this w/e

FASS

My truck starts and runs better since adding the FASS. They have 2 or 3 different springs to set desired pressures. Ask Brad.

If I remember right the startup problems associated with high pressure are not part of the common rail CP3 configuration. that was a VP44 deal I think. someone pls correct.

I think Rod has done some work regarding maximum pressure input to the CP3, but its not related to performance or drivability, its related to a pressure relief valve. Rod can you fill in the details?

THANKS GUYS FOR YOUR INPUT, I SPOKE TO BRAD TODAY AND HE SAID THAT THEY HAVE PUT A 15LB SPRING IN THE PUMP FOR STANDARD PRESSURE SETTING, HE SAID THERE HAVE BEEN PROBLEMS IN THE PAST WHITH THERE UNIT AND HE ALSO SAID THEY HAVE FOUND PROBLEMS ASIDE FROM THERE UNIT SUCH AS - BAD ORINGS ON INJECTORS AND PLUGGED SUCTION LINES IN THE FUEL TANK. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THIS UNIT INSTALLED FROM WHAT I'VE BEEN READING ABOUT THIS THING THE IDLE IS MUCH BETTER AND THE ENGINE NOISE IS REDUCED BIG TIME.THANKS AGAIN

I INSTALLED MY FASS UNIT, ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS THIS UNIT IS FANTASTIC. THE FIRST THING I NOTICED WAS THE EXCELL FROM A DEAD STOP, CRISP AND STRONG. NEXT THING WAS THE TRANSMISSION, THE SHIFT POINTS WERE MUCH SMOOTHER THIS TRUCK NEVER SHIFTED SO WELL. THE INSTALL WAS A BREEZE AND INSTRUCTIONS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES, NOTHING LEFT OUT AND EVEN THE PICTURES WERE CORRECT.YOU HAVE TO INSTALL ONE OF THESE UNITS TO REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. ALSO YOU DON'T REMOVE THE OLD SYSTEM, JUST PROTECT THESE PARTS FROM THE WEATHER AND IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE FASS WHILE YOUR ON THE ROAD YOU CAN CONVERT BACK IN NO TIME TO THE OLD UNIT.I WOULD SAY 20 MIN OR LESS. CALL BRAD AND GET ONE ITS WELL WORTH THE MONEY
