FASS install question

Hey guys,
I have a FASS 150 pump and was starting to gather up parts for my fuel system and was wondering if I need to pull the in tank pump or can I pull fuel through it?
Thanks,
Topper

To do it correct you need to pull the tank or take the bed off To put a 3/8" or 1/2 draw tube in the tank

The 03s with intank convertions need part# stk-1001. It is the draw tube and bulk head fitting.

I have an '03 and got the 95 gph FASS. I just replaced the FASS fuel line on the suction side of the tank and ran it to the cp3. No mods needed to be done to the tank.

The 03s without a intank update dont require a draw tube.

look at this thread...if your fuel filter has the black pump on the back like in the 2nd pic then you do NOT have a intank pump....

Thanks 53 ******, but I never installed my Carter Pump Pusher, so I have no idea if the installer pulled the lift pump from the filter cannister, I was curious to know if there was a way to determine the tank pump location by looking at the top of the tank. I have a feeling the installer did pull the lift pump from the filter cannister though....

I would assume that your carter pump is mounted along the frame rail some where....you need to climb under your truck and follow the fuel line to see where they go..
