FASS 95 Series Filters

The small filters that run on the FASS 95 size are an odd-ball thread size. For the f/w sep you can get a Luberfiner LFF9594 which has a 90GPH rating, 95% free water and 75% emulsified water sep, so its the closest you can get to stock.
The problem with the FF5712 is its only 10um absolute, and I haven't found a filter in that thread size that is better than 10um with a flow rate that will even come close to working, as it is the FF5712 is only rated at 60GPH.
Guys that run the 95 pump with the 95 filters are really getting screwed by FASS, the instructions call to remove the OE filter, yet the 95 filters are much worse in every aspect than stock. Guys spend a ton of money thinking they are helping their injectors, when really they are probably doing more damage to them than they were stock.

The 1212 wont work on the 95/95 pump (the one that comes with the FS19768) since the thread size is different. I understand FASS made some 95/150 pumps that are the 95 pump with the 150 filters, the 1212 would work on those pumps.

OK, what alternative do us 95 series FASS guys got for a better filter?? Our filters are worse than stock filtration, what gives???? The website says they are a 3 micron filter.....

I have not looked at my fass 95 closely lately, but if all that is wrong to put another filter on is the thread size, couldn't the threads be screwed out of the fass base and the appropriate size be screwed back in to match the needs of the filter of your choice. May have to be a custom machine shop thing, but what is the price of peace of mind?

I am the one who posted the info on the FASS 95 filters. It is accurate, and came directly from Fleetguard.
There is a better option for the f/w sep for the FASS 95, its a Luberfiner LFF9594. I have not found anything for the final fuel filter that is better than 10um.

So the 150 series has a better selection of Fleetguard filters with better Micron ratings?

The f/w sep uses the common 1-14, so yes you can improve the f/w sep. I haven't found a good fuel filter in the 1.5-16, since most OEM's dont need that much fuel. The HF6604 is a good filter, but its multipass rated so the single pass specs are unknown.

It is absolute at 3um, and 95% at 1um. But those are multi-pass specs since the filter is a hydraulic filter, not a fuel filter. I am not sure how many passes the SAE specs allow to determine the rating, but its more than 1. This is fine in a closed loop hydraulic system, but fuel specs are single-pass for a reason. (Even thou all the fuel in your tank goes thru the filter at least every hour, despite how much you are burning). So its unknown what the single-pass ratings are. I have seen the absolute rating rise 2-4um from multi-pass to single pass, I have also seen the efficiency only change by 1%, but a 2-4um rise is more common.
