Fass ?
Fass ?
I am debating on pulling the trigger on a fass titanium 150gph, my truck has the pump on the seperator. I was wondering if someone who has a similar setup as mine could give their thoughts or experience with this pump.
Thanks
Thanks
Congratulations for making it this far on the stock lift pump.
I have the older FASS 200 gph system, for about 7 years now. It was one of the noisy models, I understand they are much quieter now.
I have had zero problems with mine after all this time. I am sure at some point the motor will have to be reworked but it shows no signs of that now. It works as advertised for the most part. If you get it, when time to change the filter get the best one you can. There are threads you can search for here to get the part #.
The only caveat I would say against it is the claims for increased fuel mileage. It didn't affect mine one bit; nor has it for anyone else I know that has put one on.
It is an expensive piece of kit for your truck. You want to know you'll get your money's worth. I can say I did.

In the short time (8 months) I've had my FASS Titanium 150, it's been flawless. Great mounting brackets allow lots of options. I've run it it temps ranging from 0* - 120*. It has only recently started to be noticable noise wise after a hour plus run time in the 110* + temps. That being said, it is still stupid quiet and holds 15.8 # driving responsibily. It comes w/ a filter interchange guide. as well this info is available on their site. I have no proof of any performance / mileage gains as I did injectors at the same time (plus, IMO, those claims are smoke and mirrors). On a otherwise stock truck, I would install one of the many "filter only" options available now, and keep a substantial amount of cash in my pocket.
I installed mine the other day, and so far I am impressed. There is a little hum of the pump but really not bad at all. I guess I need a pressure guage now, my cts2 monitors rail pressure (6800+-) at idle, but not lp pressure. Great product.....
