Fass 150 Can it keep up??
Look at my signature and tell me if you guys think my fass 150 will keep up. Still haven't got everything together and I'm still wondering if this one fass will keep up? What are everyones ideas on putting two fass pumps, one to each pump?

I asked dan the same question and I told him I was headed about where you are now and he said yes. I have my doubts. At the time I was tryin to get him to send me a 200 pump cause I thought mine went out. Turned out i was wrong and he hooked me up. Thanks again Dan.

By the way. What kind of numbers you lay down with that truck? I happen to be walkin in your footsteps it seems. What kinda times? How hot? Boost? Hows the a5k. Gittin too small yet?

A single 150 fass pump won't keep up on mine. As rpms increase under wot the line pressure will drop. I"m getting ready to take off my FASS and put on my Glacier mechanical lift pump that will give me more flow at higher rpm's. That's the way it should have been from the factory. My line pressure stays at 15psi when idling but instantly drops and stays low under load. Mechanical pumps will my my current problem go away through simple design.
My line pressure it about 6-7psi under wot when it should be something closer to
19-30. FASS recommends if you have 2 CP3's you need 2 lift pumps because if you have low line pressure your leaving horsepower on the table

Don't have any idea on numbers I haven't got it all finished up yet. Several things in my signature thats not put on. I hope for it not to get to hot with two stages of water. We'll just have to see, its only for truck pulling its not a racer by no means.

the dual cp3s only need a steady 15lbs of pressure the 150 fass is plenty
I run a very similar setup no problems to report lot's of fuel , rail pressure etc

150 GPH at the 8 PSI they (Who "they" are...i don’t know...but i have been told.....its the "Others" I guess...haha) recommend for dual CP3 pumps should be more than enough. IF you absolutely feel the need for something bigger.....we do have the 200 GPH...but i feel that is over kill for this situation as the 200 GPH shines when pressure AND volume is needed.

I will see how it will do with some Flux 6's and dual Stage 2's. It will be on the dyno at Floor It this week getting tuned in. This 150 doesn't have 200 miles on it so I hope I don't have to buy another one to support it.

I don't care what anyone says because I have the setup and guages so I see first hand what is happening on my end. I have the FASS 150, dual cp3's, big sticks and my line pressure will drop down to 6-8psi under full throttle.
6-8 psi is NOT enought flow to take full advantage of the dual CP3's. I know there are others who run this setup but if you want max output out of your CP3's you need atleast 19-25 maybe even 30 psi of line pressure under full throttle.
I'll post some #'s once my "fuel boss" from glacier is installed

What is the difference to the CP3 by giving it 6, 8 and 30 PSI????????????????? Why does it matter as long as you have + PSI????????????
I understand if you are down to 0, 1 or 2 PSI, because the pressure is very low but is the CP3 actually happier with 30 PSI vs. 8 or 15 PSI???????????
Are real world dyno numbers really different or higher for 30 PSI vs. 8 PSI on the same application???????????????

The CP3 has a small orfice going into it from the feed line. Higher psi pushes more fuel in faster. It's been documented on a dyno that 30psi line pressure will produce more power than say 8 or 10 psi of line pressure. Call Glacier, PDR, ATS, they will all tell you the same thing
