I am making plans for Fall Brawl this year, where is everybody staying? I am thinking Mechanicsburg it lists on mapquest as 9 miles from Dillsburg. Jay

Jay, I will check around when I am up there Saturday to see what is close by. I have to go by the dyno shop to do a tranny install for the owner. LOL

thanks Lloyd, and did you get a chance to read my pm, in short can I just plumb up the oil pressure line and isolator to the oil filter housing just like you hook up to a fuel system to monitor pressure? Thanks, Jay

yeh, you can hook it up the same. However, I usually do not use an isolator with an oil pressure gauge. They are usually only on fuel pressure gauges to keep the blamable fluid out of the drivers area.

We need to plan a meeting at Flapjacks after Saturdays festivities. They have Woodchuck cider on tap.

If you want to check on places to stay, Camp Hill and Mech-burg are very close. If you wanted to shoot down the pike to Carlisle the Hotel Carlisle has very nice rooms/atmosphere and I can get rates through work for 65 a night. The Embers steak house is there as well.

Hey Lloyd, I just picked up a .053 jet and am heading to the strip Saturday night. I will let you know how I make out. I may need a box-O-parts to fix stuff from ya.

How far is Carlisle from Dillsburg? Where will everyone else be staying do you think? I appreciate the info and might take you up on that. Jay

Hotel Carlisle is 17 miles.... a decent little hike. http://maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m&lat=40....98326110839844

Its probably the nicest hotel in the area.... especially for the money. All I would have to do is call them and let them know you are a broken down truck driver and we are fixing your truck at our shop for the good rate.

Would anyone be interested in a 1/8th mile drag racing event Friday or Sat evening after the dyno event? I have a friend thats pretty tight with the owner of Quarter Aces and we may be able to get the track open if there is enough interest.

http://quarteraces.com/index.html

Its 8.71 miles from SGS automotive.

I think it would be a great Idea but I'm doubtful my G-turd will make it threw a drag race. I'll spectate for sure

That sounds like fun, although I have never dragged my truck before I am sure I would suck at it, I can't promise I would run it but I would come and watch for sure. Jay

Here is a thread I started about the drags. Because of township regs they can only have races on Sunday. Let me know how many are interested so I can get back to them. I just noticed that Mason-Dixon has their diesel event on the same weekend.
