I think you could have driven to Ga and I could have bought the parts and installed them cheaper than that. I dont even know what kind of twins you would have to run to cost 7k.

#1 learn more about the truck

#2 get a tranny.

What exactly is broke on the truck?

I know nothin of the geography of Ca but isnt Ponci's shop in Ca? I know its a big state but from the sounds of it you may want to get out of the OC anyway.

Dude,

I feel really bad for you, i hope you can recoop some money from them cause they certainly didn't do you right. Did you pay them? If so and they dont' deliver on what was agreed upon you might just have a case and for $47K it's worth taking it to court, in my opinion.

Good luck!!

I just dont understand how a shop like that is in buisness. As stated 20-25K will get you a top notch truck if all that is towards go fast parts. I have had to do a few things twice and lost my rear, atleast you have come to your senses and are on the right path. Figure out whats wrong with your truck 1st and foremost. Post on here the symptoms in detail, alot of very good guys on the site that will do their best to help you out. Next do not go near that shop again. Start a thread asking for good shops in your area, even if its 3+ hours away, a good mech is worth his weight in gold. Good luck.

How much do you actually have invested in mods so far? What is currently wrong with it? Is the shop who did the install for you offering to fix the truck or are you being left out to dry?

They are looking at it today and I will find out tomorrow. I have 47g in mods so far with this shop. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow.

Laguna, do your homework and cruise around the site for a while before throwing your money away. If you become educated the shops won't be able to rip you off without you putting them in their place. 40k in mods is pushing it into DWiggs territory, and you aren't getting that much done.

tranny
turbo(s)
smarty
FASS or eqiuv
modded CP3
Flux3+
springs, maybe cam
nitrous

Those are the big power adders, and power supporters, there are a couple other little things to throw in there.
Have fun
Thank for the words of wisdom I appricate it. I'll be around a long time so good to meet you.
